Welcome to Daccha Hikers (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking any trek, tour, or adventure activity with us, you (“Client”, “You”) agree to enter into a legally binding agreement with Daccha Hikers under the following Terms & Conditions.
These terms apply to you and all participants included in your booking.
1. Nature of Adventure Activities
Trekking, camping, and adventure activities in the Himalayan region involve inherent risks including but not limited to:
- Weather changes
- Landslides and natural hazards
- Altitude sickness
- Injury or death
By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks voluntarily. Daccha Hikers will take all reasonable precautions but cannot eliminate risks completely.
2. Booking & Payment Policy
- A booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully received.
- You will receive confirmation via Email/WhatsApp.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice until booking is confirmed.
3. Fitness & Medical Responsibility
- You must be physically and mentally fit for trekking activities.
- You are responsible for consulting a doctor before booking.
- Any medical condition (including pregnancy, disability, illness) must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Failure to disclose may result in:
- Cancellation of participation
- No refund
Daccha Hikers reserves the right to remove any participant if they pose a risk to themselves or others.
4. Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to modify or cancel any trek due to:
- Weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Road blockages or emergencies
Any additional costs due to such changes must be borne by the customer.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your booking:
- 20+ days before trek: 10% deduction
- 10–20 days before trek: 50% deduction
- Less than 10 days: No refund
6. Refund Policy
- Refunds are provided in the form of trek vouchers (valid for 1 year)
- No refund for unused services or voluntary dropouts
- No refund after the trek has started
In case of cancellation by the company:
- Alternative trek / voucher will be provided
- No monetary compensation beyond trek cost
7. Natural Calamities / Force Majeure
No refunds will be provided in case of:
- Snowfall, landslides, rain
- Government orders, lockdowns, strikes
- Any unforeseen circumstances
Extra expenses arising must be paid by the customer.
8. Transfer & Rescheduling
- Trek transfer to another person is allowed (same batch)
- Rescheduled bookings follow original cancellation policy
9. Pricing & Misrepresentation Policy
If a customer falsely claims lower prices from competitors:
- Booking may be cancelled
- Correct pricing will be applied
- Legal action may be taken in case of fraud
The company may request proof at any time.
10. Travel Documents
You are responsible for:
- Carrying valid ID proof
- Completing all travel formalities
Daccha Hikers is not responsible for incomplete documentation.
11. Luggage Responsibility
- You are responsible for your belongings
- We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage
12. On-Trip Behaviour
- You must behave respectfully with group members and staff
- Misconduct may result in removal from the trip without refund
The decision of the trek leader will be final.
13. Third-Party Services
We work with third-party vendors (hotels, transport, guides).
We are not responsible for their actions or service deficiencies.
14. Photography & Media Rights
By joining our trek:
- You allow us to use your photos/videos for marketing
- No compensation will be provided
If you do not agree, inform us before booking.
15. Optional Activities
Optional activities are not part of the main package.
Any participation is at your own risk and agreement with the provider.
16. Website Usage
- Content on this website is for general information only
- We do not guarantee accuracy or completeness
- Unauthorized use or copying is prohibited
17. Intellectual Property
All website content including:
- Design
- Logo
- Images
- Content
belongs to Daccha Hikers and is protected by copyright laws.
18. Limitation of Liability
Daccha Hikers is not liable for:
- Injury, loss, or damage during the trip
- Delays, cancellations, or service issues
- Loss due to third-party services
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of local courts.
20. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of our services means you accept updated terms.
